Born in a remote village and my paintings are inspired by nature. Different elements of the world, including the mystery of light and shadows fascinate me. In a soothing vocabulary of abstract forms, they re-claim their touch. I use dry pastel, exploring luminescent shades, forms submerged under semi-transparent layers, creating a journey, a discovery of some kind, adding some space to let the eyes breathe, till I find myself creating a sanctuary of inner peace and serenity, in a constantly moving world.
