Description
Aerial Symphony | Copper and Brass | 34 x 22 inches
AERIAL SYMPHONY exists at the intersection of movement and stillness — a sculptural meditation on ascent translated into form. The work captures a fleeting phenomenon: the collective rhythm of wings gathering momentum, rising from the earth toward the sky. Emerging from the ground in a choreographed configuration, the installation embodies that precise threshold where stillness transforms into flight.
Composed as an ascending field of butterflies, the sculpture is not suspended but assembled upward — a calibrated rise that negotiates gravity through geometry. Each element is positioned through parametric orchestration, allowing hundreds of individual forms to coalesce into a single spatial gesture. What begins at the ground gradually dissolves into air, creating a vertical narrative of lift, release, and transformation.
