September 1-30th 2025
In September, Lines of Continuity opens as a tribute to the enduring pulse of Indian art — a generational dialogue between masters and contemporaries, tradition and transformation.
The exhibition brings together iconic figures such as M.F. Husain, Ram Kumar, Jamini Roy, Jogen Choudhury, Shahabuddin, Suhas Roy, Ganesh Haloi, and Paritosh Sen, whose visual vocabularies shaped the foundations of Indian modernism. Their works resonate alongside those of Dipen Bose, Bijan Chowdhury, Somenath Hore, Haren Das, Anita Roy Choudhury, Wasim Kapoor, and others who deepened the language of form and emotion.
This legacy flows into the present through younger voices—Nagesh Goud, Vineet Kakkar, Taukeef Khan, Pradeep Jogdand, Sargam, Barun Pramanick, Chandan Roy, Ramesh Gorjala, Subarata Gangopadhyay, Chandra Bhattacharya, Dilip Oinum, Sujit Karmakar, Sunil Padwal, Gurucharan Singh, and Gobardhan Ash — each extending the line with fresh perspectives and mediums.
Lines of Continuity is not a chronology but a living archive. It celebrates the inheritance of artistic spirit and the evolution of visual thought.
Each work is a thread in a larger tapestry — woven across time, geography, and sensibility — where the past is not behind us, but alive within the present.
