Kantha now it is made in all areas of India since ancient times. Kantha is made by stitching old clothes till now l have experimented in making my artworks.

Kantha now it is made in all areas of India since ancient times. Kantha is made by stitching old clothes till now l have experimented in making my artworks.
I use pieces of cloth, As canvas and colours, I used different types of clothes as a colour, layer by layer I take five to Twelve layer of clothes this is how the compose of my Artwork After the Composition is ready. I start Artwork Stitching By hand with the help of needles, thread and wool.
My artwork, its Represents rural lifestyle and rural culture. And what I create is the map of my inner exploration, that Is my world. In which I fill pieces of clothes like canvas and colours in which I travel with the help of a Needle and thread. There is peace somewhere in this journey. There is silence somewhere, there are Some lots of memories. Which is what is left over from the experience of life.
