- In case of unsolicited/suspicious registration on our website, the gallery has full liberty to cancel the said registration and remove them from the mailing list.
- Gallery does not take liability for unavailibity of any particular artwork listed on the site as available. Proposed buyer must reconfirm availability with the gallery through phone/email.
- All sales proceeds are final. Money received post purchases cannot be refunded.
- No refunds for color variation, which is unavoidable. The artwork image may vary in color due to individual computers resolution & color settings.
- The price of the artwork listed does not include duties, taxes, shipping and handling costs or getting the artwork in their country, which will be charged as applicable.
- The artworks will be delivered / shipped to the buyer once all necessary documentation, pertaining to transportation, tax, etc. are completed and the payment has been realized in full including all relevant additional charges.
- Gallery Kolkata (GK) is authorized to exercise complete discretion in (i) the illustration and description of artworks for viewing and sale and (ii) acceptance or rejection of orders received.
- GK may not be able to provide physical preview of all the artworks listed on the website. However a preview may be shown after the final purchase & before delivery to the satisfaction of the customer.(Kindly contact the gallery to discuss about possible preview of artworks chosen for purchase)
- All foreign currency exchange rates for the purchase are made on the existing market value at the time of purchase. The prices have been 'rounded off' for ease of reference and do not necessarily reflect the exact exchange rate used for calculation during invoicing.
Authenticity Guarantee

All artworks displayed on the website are supported with an 'Authenticity Guarantee' from the seller/artist. GK will further issue the same for every artwork sold from the gallery.
GK provides an assurance that each piece of art which we offer for sale on the site, is a genuine work of the artist listed. GK sources artworks directly from the artists, and only in rare occasions from authentic and genuine sources/collectors.
However, in the unlikely event that any item purchased from GK is subsequently proven to be unauthentic, GK will refund the full purchase price and shipping costs paid by you. This will be handled on a case-to-case basis and require examinable proof of questionable authenticity to be provided by an established authority.
This guarantee holds for one year from the date of purchase of the original artwork if: |
- The actual buyer makes the claim (The benefit of the claim is not assignable to any other person).
- The item is returned in the same condition that it was purchased in.
- The item was indisputably purchased from GK and
At the time of sale, there was no technique available which could determine that the item was not authentic. |
